Cloud Prep is an independent learning platform. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon Web Services. Questions about this policy can go to contact@biprodas.dev.

Account

Your email address and a password, handled by our authentication provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile details Google shares for that.

Profile

A name, phone number and profile picture if you add them in Settings, plus preferences such as theme and default practice length.

Learning data

When you are signed in: finished practice and mock-exam attempts and scores, an unfinished paper so you can resume on another device, bookmarked questions, and questions you got wrong.

Usage data

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count visits and measure page speed. PostHog records how the product is used: pages viewed, and actions such as starting or finishing a practice run (with its score), bookmarking a question or opening checkout, plus whether you were signed in. Both are cookieless, store nothing in your browser, and never receive your name, email or account id, so they describe how the site is used rather than who uses it.

You can browse certifications, topics and cheat sheets without signing up. Practice runs and mock exams need a free account. While a run is in progress a copy is kept in your own browser so a dropped connection costs nothing, and it is saved to your account as you go. Clearing your browser's site data removes the local copy.

• Sign-in cookies. Set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in. They are essential, so the site cannot keep you signed in without them.
• Local storage. Your theme choice and, if you are signed out, your practice progress.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and analytics does not use cookies.

• To run the service: sign you in, serve questions and score your attempts.
• To save your progress and sync it across your devices.
• To send the emails an account needs, such as confirming your address or resetting a password.
• To understand how the site is used and keep it fast and reliable.

We do not sell your personal data.

We rely on a few providers to run the service:

• Supabase for authentication, the database and file storage (profile pictures).
• Vercel for hosting and the analytics described above.
• PostHog for the product analytics described above, hosted in the United States.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.

These providers process data on our behalf. Some of them may store or process it outside your country.

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account exists. Deleting an account also removes its attempts, saved paper, bookmarks and mistakes. Analytics are kept by Vercel and PostHog under their own retention rules; since they hold nothing that names you, there is nothing in them to delete with your account.

You can update your name, phone, picture, email, password and preferences in Settings at any time. To see, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you, or to close your account, email contact@biprodas.dev from the address on the account and we will act on the request.

Cloud Prep is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
